ISP announces all Illinois counties now have 911 services

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (KFVS) – On Monday, Illinois State Police Director Brendan Kelly announced that every county in the Land of Lincoln now has 911 services.

Kelly said this is a significant milestone for ISP’s Division of Statewide 911 and the whole state.

Since 2016, the Illinois Statewide 911 Administrator has awarded more than $47 million in grants to systems across the state to ensure enhanced 911 service.
