Illinois man pulled from Lake Michigan

PORTER COUNTY — Indiana Conservation Officers responded to the seashore space of Indiana Dunes State Park at 10:30 a.m. Sunday after a state park lifeguard reported a person, 72, going beneath the water and never resurfacing.

Porter Hearth Division, Porter Police Division, Porter County EMS, and conservation officers responded to the scene, whereas lifeguards instantly began looking the swim space.

After about quarter-hour, lifeguards have been capable of find the person in roughly seven ft of water, 100 ft from the shore. As soon as bringing him to the shore, lifeguards started performing CPR.

A conservation officer and an off-duty firefighter from the Indianapolis Hearth Division continued CPR on shore.

The person was transported to Northwest Well being Porter Hospital the place he stays in vital situation.
