Illinois man dies in bicycle crash north of Jamestown

STUTSMAN COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Freeway Patrol says a person on a motorbike was killed after a pickup struck him. The crash occurred on State Freeway 20, ten miles north of Jamestown round 12:30 Sunday afternoon.

The sufferer is a 20-year-old man from North Brook, Illinois. He was sporting a helmet. The truck was pushed by 78-year-old James Lees, of Jamestown.

The State Patrol says Lees didn’t yield and hit the sufferer’s rear tire. Lees left the scene however returned and located the sufferer.

The crash is underneath investigation.
