Illinois man delays Morgan Wallen concert with threats to shoot Chiefs players

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – An Illinois man is behind bars after he delayed the Morgan Wallen concert at Arrowhead Stadium by 40 minutes with threats to shoot 2 Kansas City Chiefs players.

The Jackson County, Missouri, Prosecutor’s Office announced on Saturday, Aug. 3, that Aaron Brown III, 23, of Winchester, Illinois, has been charged with the Class E felony of making a terroristic threat in the second degree.

Court records indicated that detectives with the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department and intelligence analysts with the Kansas City Fusion Center discovered a threat against two individuals made on X. Brown allegedly threatened to shoot two members of the Kansas City Chiefs organization who were at a Friday concert at Arrowhead Stadium.

According to the Arrowhead Stadium event schedule, Morgan Wallen played a concert there on Friday night. He was joined by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Chris Jones was also in attendance.

Court documents also noted that the concert was delayed for 40 minutes as Brown was located. He was charged earlier on Saturday with a bond of $15,000 set.
