Illinois Department of Transportation worker saves jumper’s life

MASSAC COUNTY, Sick. (WTVO) — An IDOT employee and a police officer saved a person’s life.

A police dashcam confirmed the officer pulling the person again to security after he tried to leap from a bridge on an interstate overpass. It occurred in Massac County, within the far southern a part of the state.

An IDOT employee referred to as police after he discovered a person who was having medical points. The officer was speaking to the person when he tried to leap. She was capable of pull him again. He was taken to a hospital for analysis.

The officer has been awarded a Letter of Commendation for her work.
