The Hermosa native stated her platform of advocating for minorities and deprived communities stems from her background and upbringing.
She’s a part of the Hermosa Neighborhood Affiliation, which helps minorities get into the workforce and promotes schooling.
She was solely the second Latina in state historical past to win her title.
