Giant guitar artwork arrives at Illinois Rock & Roll Museum in Joliet
JOLIET, Sick. – A rockin’ new show arrived Monday on the Illinois Rock & Roll Museum in Joliet.
Nicknamed “Gigantar” — it’s being dubbed the most important handmade guitar sculpture ever created.
The show is 24-feet tall and got here from New Jersey. The work was created by Shannon MacDonald, who is well known for her art work within the leisure business, creating for Low cost Trick, The Beatles, and others.

The museum has been sharing updates of Gigantar’s progress on their Fb web page, revealing some stops in Illinois cities alongside the way in which.
The sculpture was made attainable, partially, from a grant by the Illinois Division of Commerce and Financial Alternative.
The art work might be seen outdoors the museum on Cass Avenue.
