2 suburban teens make history as 1st Mr., Mrs. Black Aurora

AURORA, In poor health. (WLS) — We’re celebrating Black Historical past Month by recognizing two Aurora teenagers who made historical past this weekend!

Pete Eta, of Waubonsie Valley Excessive College, and Charitee Cocroft, of East Aurora Excessive College, had been topped the primary Mr. and Miss Black Aurora.

They are going to now start their year-long journey of representing Aurora’s Black group.

Their first official look is Tuesday evening to simply accept Aurora’s Black Historical past Month Proclamation.
