A 30-year-old man was arrested after he led Michigan State Police on a chase in a stolen automotive in Detroit.
DETROIT (FOX 2) – A 30-year-old man was arrested after he led Michigan State Police on a chase earlier than bailing on foot in Detroit.
Officers mentioned troopers have been at a fuel station on Greenfield close to Schoolcraft once they noticed a person standing close to a Ford Discover and performing suspiciously.

The troopers checked the Explorer’s registration plate and discovered it was a stolen automobile out of Detroit. The individual received into the motive force seat of the Explorer and fled earlier than troopers may try to make contact with him.
Troopers pursued the automobile till Trooper 2 arrived. Proper after the troopers terminated the pursuit, the motive force and several other passengers deserted the automotive and ran, police mentioned.
“Sadly for the legal, Trooper 2 already had them and continued following the motive force. Troopers ran after the motive force and tackled him to the bottom,” MSP mentioned.
The driving force continued to withstand arrest and was handcuffed after a quick wrestle, police mentioned. The opposite occupants weren’t positioned.
