Temps To Hit 50s With Rain This Week: Metro Detroit Weather

SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN — Springlike weather is returning to the metro Detroit area this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will reach the 40s across the metro area Monday before the first wave of rain moves into the region during the nighttime hours, according to the weather service.

Scattered rain showers will stick around Tuesday morning, so you may want to grab an umbrella if you’re planning to stand in line for paczki, according to the weather service.

Highs will eventually climb toward 50 degrees Tuesday during the afternoon and evening hours when more widespread rain is expected across the metro area, according to the weather service.

The warming trend continues into Wednesday when highs across the metro area hit the 50s, but again with more rain in the afternoon hours, according to the weather service.

There is even a chance the rain can switch into a wintry mix during the nighttime hours when temperatures fall into the 30s, according to the weather service.

Skies finally open back up Thursday, but with cooler temperatures that will persist through the rest of the workweek, according to the weather service.

Monday: Rain; High 41, Low 34
