Teens charged in connection to fatal shooting of River Rouge man
(CBS DETROIT) – Two teenagers have been charged in reference to the deadly taking pictures of 21-year-old Jonai Harrison of River Rouge.
Marcell Carter, 17, of River Rouge, and Dshaun Miller, of Ecorse, have each been charged as adults.
Carter has been charged with one rely of felony homicide. Miller has been charged with one rely of felony homicide and one rely of felony firearm, in keeping with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Workplace.
Officers say a relative reported lacking Harrison on Friday, Dec. 9.
On Thursday, Dec. 15, River Rouge officers responded to West Nice and I-75 in Detroit, the place they discovered the sufferer with a number of gunshot wounds to his physique and neck.
Based on the prosecutor’s workplace, it’s alleged that on Thursday, Dec. 8, Carter and Miller fatally shot Harrison and moved his physique to a different location.
An investigation by the Detroit Police Division, with assist from the Ecorse Police Division, led to the arrest of Carter on Jan. 11 and the arrest of Miller on Jan. 18.
Each defendants had been arraigned on Feb. 14 and remanded to jail.
A possible trigger convention is scheduled for Feb. 28, and the preliminary examination is scheduled for March 7.
