Teen critically injured in hit-and-run, Detroit police seeking information

(CBS DETROIT) – A teen is critically injured after a hit-and-run in Detroit early Tuesday morning. 

Detroit Police Division stated the incident occurred at roughly 3:07 a.m. on Pleasure Highway close to Stahelin Avenue. An unknown suspect driving a dark-colored Dodge Charger with tinted home windows allegedly hit the 17-year-old boy from behind whereas he was touring eastbound on his skateboard. 

Police stated the suspect didn’t cease and continued driving.

The teenager was transported by medics to an area hospital the place as of Wednesday, police stated he stays in important situation.
