Fire erupts at former music venue in Detroit
Fire crews were working late Monday to extinguish a fire at the former McCarthy’s Music Venue in Detroit, police said.
The building is located at 1600 W. Fort Street, across from the Salvation Army building, police said. It was unclear what caused the blaze.
A man was hospitalized with smoke inhalation, according to Fox 2 Detroit.
Fire officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
