Detroit police want help identifying suspect, person of interest in carjacking

DETROIT – Police are asking for the general public to assist them determine a suspect and individual of curiosity in a carjacking in Detroit.

The incident occurred at 12 a.m. on Aug. 24. Police stated a 71-year-old man agreed to offer the suspect a experience to a gasoline station.

Whereas they had been on their approach to the gasoline station, the suspect noticed the individual of curiosity and requested the person to additionally give her a experience.

All three individuals had been within the car touring within the space of Richton and Lawton streets when the suspect assaulted the 71-year-old man and demanded his inexperienced Jeep Commander, in keeping with police.
