Detroit police: 2 arrested for May assault after stolen car crashes during chase on I-275

DETROIT – Two individuals needed for assault with intent to homicide had been arrested Monday after crashing their automobile whereas fleeing from Detroit police.

At about 5:20 p.m. Monday, police say officers acknowledged a suspect needed in reference to a Could 30 assault driving a stolen automobile close to Fenkell Avenue and Beaverland Road in Detroit. Police tried to conduct a site visitors cease when the suspect drove away, officers stated.

Detroit police pursued the suspect onto I-96, after which onto I-275. The suspect then crashed the stolen automobile on the 6 Mile exit ramp off of I-275 in Livonia, police stated.

Two individuals contained in the stolen automobile had been taken into custody. Detroit police say they had been each needed for assault with intent to homicide in reference to a Could taking pictures close to McNichols Highway and Riverdale Drive. A number of individuals had been shot throughout that assault, officers stated.
