Detroit Police: 16-year-old fatally shot Friday night; teen in custody

A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot Friday, April 7 on Detroit’s northwest aspect, police say.

The Detroit Police Division says the taking pictures occurred round 10:40 p.m. at a house within the 20000 block of Murray Hill St, close to 8 Mile Street and the Southfield Freeway. Officers say a 16-year-old boy was fatally shot inside a house.

The circumstances that led as much as the taking pictures should not but recognized.

DPD says an adolescent was arrested in connection to the taking pictures. The teenager’s relationship with the sufferer was not disclosed.

Detroit Police say that is an ongoing investigation.
