The Detroit Pistons are back on the court, 24 hours after losing at home to the NBA’s second-worst team. Now they will welcome one of the league’s best.

The Pistons will get their second and final go of the season at the Oklahoma City Thunder at 2 p.m., just before kickoff of the Detroit Lions’ NFC championship game against the San Francisco 49ers. Fans who go to the Pistons game are being encouraged to stay after to watch the Lions as well. There is also a watch party at Ford Field, home of the Lions (ticket needed).

It won’t be an easy task for the Pistons as they try and knock off the Thunder, who have been battling with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the top spot in the Western Conference.

The Pistons have faced the Thunder once already this season, a 124-112 loss on the road Oct. 30 that was the first loss of their historic losing streak.

Saturday’s brutal 118-104 loss to the Washington Wizards saw the return of Pistons guard Cade Cunningham, after he missed eight games with a knee injury. Cunningham looked spry and even threw down a dunk over Wizards center Daniel Gafford in the early minutes. But his seven turnovers proved costly despite scoring 20 points and dishing 12 assists. The Pistons will likely be careful with Cunningham, but the team has not said anything about Cunningham not being able to play back-to-backs or having a minutes restriction. He was listed as probable to play as of Saturday night.

The Pistons next travel to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
