Detroit native opens flagship K. Walker Collective on Saturday in Midtown
DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit native Ken Walker will open his first-ever U.S. retailer – Okay. Walker Collective – on Saturday in Detroit.
Positioned at 4161 Cass Ave. close to Detroit’s Cass Hall, the shop opened at 10 a.m. Saturday, which is Small Enterprise Saturday.
Walker launched the model in 2018 providing important clothes and accessories.
The 1,700-square-foot house will function Detroit’s first non-public label model to have its personal flagship retailer and it’ll concentrate on industrial craftsmanship.
“I goal for Okay. Walker Collective to be fully positioned as a trailblazing way of life model, not only a clothes model. I need my retailer to be a beacon of hope and to be inventive inspiration for the youth. Group is on the core and our retailer will present the world that Detroit is an plain fashion-forward metropolis,” Walker mentioned in a press release.
The shop can be open from 12 p.m. to six p.m. on Tuesdays by Thursdays, 12 p.m. to eight p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and by appointment solely on Sundays.
