Clemens’ youngest son added to roster by Tigers
Kody Clemens, the youngest son of seven-time Cy Younger winner Roger Clemens, has been recalled to the majors by the Detroit Tigers, it was introduced Monday.
Clemens, a 26-year-old left-handed hitter who performs each infield and outfield, was added to the roster in time for Monday’s recreation vs. Minnesota Twins.
He reportedly bought the decision whereas Triple-A Toledo was touring by bus to Columbus for Monday night time’s recreation. Clemens bought off the bus and was en path to Detroit.
Clemens, a third-round choice within the 2018 MLB draft, was batting .283 with 8 residence runs and 31 RBIs with the Mud Hens this season.
He was added to the roster throughout the 2021 season however has but to see any motion in a serious league recreation.
To make room, the Tigers positioned outfielder Robbie Grossman on the injured checklist with a neck pressure.
