2 Amish children killed, 3rd injured in buggy-vehicle crash

MANTON, Mich. (AP) — Two Amish kids have been killed and one other was significantly injured when their buggy collided with a motorized vehicle Monday in northern Michigan, authorities mentioned.

All three kids have been ejected from the buggy. An 11-year-old woman and a 7-year-old boy suffered deadly accidents and have been pronounced useless on the scene north of Cadillac, the Wexford County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned.

A 9-year-old woman was airlifted to Devos Youngsters’s Hospital in Grand Rapids with critical accidents, deputies mentioned.

The buggy collided round 8:15 a.m. at a rural intersection with a automobile pushed by a 48-year-old Manton man, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned in a information launch.

“The Amish buggy approached the intersection and proceeded to cross via the intersection pulling into the trail of the eastbound automobile,” the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.

The motive force of the automobile and his three passengers weren’t injured, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.
