CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Guardians open up a three-game series at home vs. the Kansas City Royals on Friday night. First pitch is at 6:10 p.m. Eastern.

The Guardians just completed a three-game sweep of the Chicago White Sox with a 6-1 victory on Thursday afternoon. Steven Kwan and Kyle Manzardo each hit two-run home runs for Cleveland, and Kwan had four RBIs.
Starter Gavin Williams went five innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out seven for his first win of the season.
Cleveland started its season with a three-game series in Kansas City and went 2-1 in the series.
Right hander Tanner Bibee (1-1, 6.52 ERA) will get the start for the Guardians, and the Royals will counter with lefty Kris Bubic (2-0, 0.00).
