COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Buckeyes came through against Penn State, and as is tradition, serenaded their fans in the stands with a rendition of “Carmen Ohio” on Saturday afternoon in Columbus. Former QB C.J. Stroud joined the team on the field at the end of the game to sing along.

Ohio State pulled ahead in the second half to win 20-12 and remain undefeated this season.

“Carmen Ohio” has been part of OSU’s history since the early 1900s, and it was then-coach Jim Tressel in 2001 who started the tradition of having players sing the song for fans after every game, win or lose.
