US Coast Guard: Boater says crash near Whiskey Island caused by winds
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The US Coast Guard stated crews responded late Thursday to a ship crash close to Whiskey Island in Cleveland.
According to a tweet from the Coast Guard, a boater continued course after hitting one other boat because it was being towed.
After the incident, the boater who left reported shedding management as a result of wind, the Coast Guard stated.
Their boat was moored after the crash, in keeping with the tweet.
The Coast Guard was assisted by the Cleveland Metroparks and the Ohio Division of Pure Assets.
