Thousands of flights delayed, hundreds canceled over past 2 days due to weather, mechanical issues

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Delay: the one phrase you don’t wish to see on the departures board on the airport.

However, there have been hundreds of flights delayed or canceled for the second day in a row, as individuals attempt to make their approach residence from the vacation weekend.

In keeping with the web site Flight Conscious, there have been greater than 5,500 flights delayed nationwide on Sunday, and 167 flights had been canceled.
