Suspect sentenced for killing Cleveland business owner during 2019 burglary

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The killer convicted in connection to a lethal housebreaking at a Cleveland enterprise will face a decide for sentencing on Wednesday morning.

The sentencing for Sedrick Hawkins is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on the Cuyahoga County Courtroom of Widespread Pleas.

In keeping with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Workplace, the 26-year-old suspect entered the Manno Landscaping companies on Buckeye Avenue in September 2019 and attacked the 74-year-old proprietor.

Hawkins emptied Larry Manno’s pockets and the shop’s drawers through the housebreaking.
