Suspect in custody, baby unharmed after woman injured in Cleveland shooting: Police
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A suspect is in custody and a child unharmed after a woman was injured Sunday afternoon following a shooting, according to Cleveland Police.
Cleveland Police said the shooting happened just before 3 p.m. in the 3200 block of E. 139th Street.
The 23-year-old victim was transported to University Hospitals, according to EMS. Her current condition is unknown.
Cleveland Police arrested a 23-year-old man in connection to the shooting, but he has not been charged. A 1-year-old baby was with the man when he was arrested.
The baby was unharmed.
The shooting remains under investigation.
