Several Northeast Ohio school districts receive money for school safety, security
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – 4 native faculty districts can be receiving state cash to strengthen their faculty safety.
State Rep. Tom Patton made the announcement Monday.
In accordance with Patton, $706,786 can be divided between the districts.
“Any help we are able to present to maintain our youngsters and lecturers protected all through our colleges is important,” Patton stated. “This funding goes to reinforce safety for college students, employees and directors. I consider this program will hopefully make an actual distinction in defending all our college students every day and offers dad and mom extra peace of thoughts that we’re working to maintain their children protected.”
• Strongsville Metropolis Faculty District – $289,043
• Berea Metropolis Faculty District – $50,000
• North Royalton Metropolis Faculty District – $150,000
• Olmsted Falls Metropolis Faculty District – $217,743
The cash comes from the Ohio Okay-12 Faculty Security Grant Program.
