Sentencing for Cleveland woman found guilty of 2021 Thanksgiving Day murder
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A 30-year-old Cleveland lady was sentenced Thursday morning to life in jail for capturing two ladies in Cleveland on Thanksgiving Day 2021.
Dominique Johnson, 29, died from her accidents. The second lady survived.
Cuyahoga County Courtroom of Widespread Pleas Decide Kathleen Sutula added Katia Chappell is first eligible for parole after serving 43 and a half years behind bars.
Chappell shot each victims inside a automobile round 2:25 a.m. on Nov. 25, 2021 within the 12000 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Chappell was taken into custody by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Process Power in Maple Heights on Jan. 10, 2022.
On Feb. 14, a jury discovered Chappell responsible on all counts; together with, aggravated homicide, homicide, tried homicide, felonious assault, tampering with proof and carrying hid weapons.
