Police: Summit County man who claimed he had bomb confesses to robbing bank

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – An Akron man is in custody for allegedly robbing a financial institution theft on the morning of Could 13.

In line with police, officers responded to the Key Financial institution on West Market Road for experiences of a theft.

Investigators discovered that the suspect, recognized by police as 29-year-old Daniel Stearns, entered the financial institution and handed a notice to the teller that acknowledged he had a bomb.

Police mentioned the 29-year-old grabbed cash from the teller’s hand and left the financial institution.

Stearns was ultimately positioned and arrested on a cost of aggravated theft.
