Not a single large company in Ohio had stock market growth last week
CLEVELAND, Ohio – It was a slow week last week in the stock market for Ohio companies.
Stock prices were down for every large company in Ohio, breaching more than 4% loss for some. Only seven major Ohio companies saw losses of less than 2%.
Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati came the closest to a net positive, losing only 0.5%, or 77 cents a share, last week.
This was followed by Bath and Body Works in Columbus, which only decreased 0.6% or 27 cents.
Two large Greater Cleveland-based companies saw less than 2% decreases in shares: Transdigm Group and FirstEnergy.
Here is a listing of the Ohio companies with the seven smallest losses, by percent, courtesy of IEX Cloud and Stacker. Stocks are ranked by percent price change from Apr. 5 to Apr. 12.
The listing is limited to companies largely based in Ohio, listed on the Russell 3000 membership list, and with a market cap of over $5 billion on April 14, 2024.
