Former Cleveland City Councilwoman Mamie Mitchell dies

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Former Cleveland Metropolis Councilwoman Mamie Mitchell, who served in Ward 6 for 9 years, died on Friday.

A Cleveland Metropolis Council spokesperson confirmed the March 17 passing.

Mitchell was appointed in 2008 to interchange former Councilwoman Pat Britt when she turned the Clerk of Metropolis Council, in keeping with a council information launch.
