CLEVELAND, Ohio — Lake View Cemetery is being adorned with about 9,000 flags in preparation of its annual Memorial Day observance.
Practically 100 volunteers confirmed up Friday to position the flags. Volunteers are working via Saturday afternoon to ensure the cemetery is well-decorated for Monday’s occasion. Greater than 200 volunteers will assist place the flags over the three days. About group of about 60 volunteers began putting flags on Thursday.
