Cleveland Police respond to shooting early Easter morning shooting

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Shots rang off in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood early Easter Sunday morning, neighbors told 19 News.

The neighbors who spoke to 19 News did not want to be identified, but did relive the horrifying moments.

“Me and my dog were in the bed all I heard was boom, boom, boom,” explained one woman. “It stopped and then it started again”.

Police were called to the corner of West 43rd Street and Hyde Avenue.

Our team watched officers place dozens of evidence markers and take pictures of several cars with shattered windows.

One man told us he had multiple bullet holes inside his home.

“I heard a lot of shots, and then I ducked between my bed and my wall,” said the man.

Neighbors told 19 News they heard about 30 gunshots but don’t believe anyone was hurt.

“Something’s got to be done about this,” said a woman. ”Today is Easter Sunday. What is wrong with people?”
