Cleveland Heights officials identify driver accused in deadly hit-skip
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) – Cleveland Heights officers stated a 66-year-old man is lifeless after being injured in a hit-skip crash.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has recognized the sufferer as David Eisler of Cleveland Heights.
In line with metropolis officers, a 55-year-old man fled the scene after hitting Eisler as he walked by a crosswalk.
The crash occurred Jan. 19 close to the Lee Highway Library, and officers arrested the suspect Jan. 25, officers stated.
He’s been recognized by officers as Derrick Matthews.
On Jan. 31, Eisler was declared lifeless at College Hospitals, based on the health worker.
The health worker stated his reason for loss of life was blunt power accidents.
