Cleveland Guardians’ Terry Francona named American League Manager of the Year

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cleveland Guardians supervisor Terry Francona was named American League Supervisor of the Yr on Nov. 15, as voted upon by members of the Baseball Writers Affiliation of America.

That is Francona’s third supervisor of the 12 months win.

He received again in 2013, which was his first season in Cleveland, and once more in 2016 after main the group to the World Collection.

The Guardians supervisor beat out Orioles supervisor Brandon Hyde and Mariners Scott Servais for the award.

The Cleveland Guardians went 92-70 this season on the best way to the AL Central title.

They did that regardless of having the youngest roster within the league and having 17 gamers make their MLB debut in 2022.
