City of Cleveland holds funeral for fallen firefighter Johnny Tetrick
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The Metropolis of Cleveland is holding the funeral service for fallen firefighter Johnny Tetrick at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Saturday.
Tetrick, 51, tragically misplaced his life in a hit-and-run on Nov. 19.
The funeral for the 27-year veteran is about to start at 11 a.m. in Cleveland. It’s open to the general public.
Town of Cleveland on Friday stated police will probably be at numerous intersections to help with highway closures downtown because of a full procession previous to the funeral:

- Ontario/Carnegie
- East ninth/Carnegie
- East ninth/Sumner
- East ninth/Erie Court docket
- East ninth at Cemetery
- East ninth/Bolivar eastbound
- East ninth/Prospect
- Huron/Prospect
- East ninth Place/Huron
- East eighth/Huron
- East seventh/Huron
- East sixth/Huron
- East 4th/Excessive Road
Tetrick’s wake was held Friday night in Willoughby, the place hundreds paid their respects.
Leander Bissell, 40, of Cleveland, was charged with aggravated vehicular murder and never stopping after an accident hours after Tetrick’s loss of life.
Metropolis officers, together with Mayor Justin Bibb, honored Tetrick within the days main as much as his funeral.
