The 2024 Mayor’s Luncheon is an event dedicated to providingcrucial financial support and awareness to UNCF’s mission. UNCF positively transforms lives by enabling students from underrepresented communities to access a college education – a gateway to fulfilling careers, engaged citizenship, and service to our nation.

Over the past 80 years, UNCF has been able to help successfully graduate students, most of whom come from households earning less than $43,000 per year. With $100 million allocated towards scholarships, these students can attend more than 1,100 schools nationwide, including a notable network of 37 HBCUs. This enables them to focus solely on their education instead of worrying about their financial backgrounds.

Despite the significant strides that UNCF has made, there is still a long way to go. We remain committed to creating opportunities for more students from similar economic backgrounds to access higher education. As an esteemed member of our community, we would like to invite you to join us in this noble mission. Your support as a partner, is an investment in building a workforce of teachers, business leaders, attorneys, and potentially the next mayor of Cleveland.

Thank you for your unwavering support of UNCF, its students, and the colleges it serves. Your dedication is the catalyst for the advancement of our community. Together, we are actively making a difference, steering towards a brighter future for all.
