2024 three-star Florida safety commits to Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State earned a commit from 2024 three-star safety Leroy Roker on Wednesday afternoon. Roker, of Bishop Verot in Fort Myers, Florida, is the second safety commitment in the class.

He is ranked No. 1285 in the 247Sports composite rankings as the No. 121 safety and the No. 173 player in the state of Florida. He held offers from Miami and Iowa.

Roker is the second safety commit in the class, alongside safety three-star Jaylen McClain.

The Buckeyes were in the hunt for some top safety prospects in the class, including five-star KJ Bolden, but swung and missed with some of the more highly regarded prospects in the class.

Ohio State’s class of 2024 has 22 commitments and ranks No. 2 in the 247Sports rankings behind Georgia.
