2 charged with murder after 5-year-old Cleveland girl dies from alleged child abuse, neglect
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Two individuals had been charged with homicide Thursday morning after their 5-year-old daughter died from hunger.
Janicea Brooks, 24, and Collyn Inexperienced, 32, are being held liable for the loss of life of their daughter Kamryn Riley.
Their bond was set at $500,000 every.
It was reported by the coroner that she was lifeless for at the least 48 hours, that means she was already lifeless when dropped at the hospital.
“It was reported by the coroner that she was lifeless for at the least 48 hours. So, when she was introduced the hospital, she was already lifeless” stated one prosecutor. “Starved to loss of life! When she was taken to the hospital, she weighed 21 lbs.”
Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia stated officers had been despatched to Rainbow Infants and Kids’s Hospital for a 5-year-old lady who was pronounced lifeless round 4:30 p.m. on March 22.
The lady was pushed to the hospital from a home within the 11900 block of Forest Avenue, Ciaccia stated, and members of the Murder Unit went to the home to analyze, which was reportedly in deplorable circumstances.
Three of the ladies siblings had been present in the home.
