18-year-old dead after Cleveland Heights officer-involved shooting
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) – The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation has confirmed a fatal officer-involved shooting in Cleveland Heights Friday morning.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner confirmed the identity of the man who died after the shooting as 18-year-old Christian Alexander Tyson Thomas.
BCI also confirmed that no officers were injured.
Cleveland Heights Mayor Kahlil Seren confirmed on social media Friday morning that the officer-involved shooting is currently under investigation.

Ohio BCI said its investigation is active and ongoing.
Seren posted on Facebook early Friday morning that traffic has been restricted on Yellowstone Road between Glenwood Road and Oakridge Drive along with the intersection of Mayfield Road and Yellowstone Road as the investigation continues.
19 News crews reported that the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner was on the scene as of 4:30 a.m.
