1 dead, 3 injured in car crash on Cleveland’s East Side: EMS dispatchers
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A two-car crash on Cleveland’s East Side killed one person and hospitalized three others Saturday morning, according to EMS officials.
EMS dispatchers say they found a 55-year-old man dead in the area of Superior Avenue and Giddings Road, which borders the St. Clair Superior and Hough neighborhoods, at approximately 12:24 a.m.
The man has not been identified.
EMS says they transported the other three victims to University Hospitals in critical condition.
Cleveland Division of Police Sgt. Wilfredo Diaz said the other three victims in the crash were a 20-year-old man, a 17-year-old woman and a 43-year-old woman.

The cause of the crash has not been revealed.
clarification: A Cleveland EMS dispatcher initially provided information that 63-year-old man died at the scene. Police later provided an update, saying the man is 55 years old. This story has been updated to reflect these changes.
