Scholarship honors Daniel Moshi, West Leyden High School student who died during choir performance

FRANKLIN PARK, Unwell. (WLS) — A brand new scholarship honors a suburban highschool scholar who died out of the blue throughout a choir efficiency final month.

Daniel Moshi was a gifted musician, together with his distinctive voice incomes him a spot because the lead tenor within the choir at Saint Andrews Assyrian Church.

Teen who died out of the blue throughout choir efficiency hoped to sing on Broadway, household says

Daniel was one of some dozen college students from across the state chosen for a present choir efficiency at Naperville North highschool. He was rehearsing when his mom stated he handed out whereas performing a solo.

“After I obtained there, Daniel was already gone. My valuable child boy,” Karolin Moshi stated

Daniel beloved musical theater and his dream was to have a profession on Broadway.

Daniel was a senior at West Leyden Excessive College, which has now created the Daniel Moshi Memorial Scholarship.

The scholarship will go to college students who’re pursuing a four-year diploma in nice arts.
