CHICAGO (WLS) — Nipsey’s Restaurant and Lounge was torn down Tuesday after Chicago officers issued an emergency demolition order.

The constructing was badly broken in a fireplace early Monday morning on the Far South Aspect.

Flames shot via the roof of the restaurant at 9156 S. Stony Island Ave., and firefighters attacked the blaze from a number of sides simply after 6 a.m.
