Man found dead on Lake Michigan shoreline in Highland Park killed in ‘violent confrontation’: police

HIGHLAND PARK, Sick. (WLS) — A person discovered useless on Lake Michigan’s north suburban shoreline on Saturday morning was killed in a “violent confrontation,” Lake County police stated Sunday.

At about 5:10 a.m. Saturday, Highland Park police responded to a report of an unconscious individual on the shoreline the 0-100 block of Cliff Highway, officers stated. When police arrived, they discovered a person’s physique.

The 45-year-old lived within the Fort Sheridan Forest Protect space, police stated. He went exterior to talk with people who have been being loud on the lakeshore shortly after 1:00 a.m. Saturday.

He was killed in a violent confrontation that adopted, a preliminary investigation confirmed.

Two different males concerned within the confrontation, 20 and 18 years previous, have been injured, police stated. They have been hospitalized and are talking with investigators.
