Man charged in in wine bottle attack, robbery on CTA Red Line train, CPD announce

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police have charged a person in an incident on a CTA Purple Line prepare when a person attacked and robbed after being hit within the head with a wine bottle.

Police stated the Solomon Washington, 30, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Video reveals two males demanding ID from a person who was sleeping on the L, then taking the sufferer’s wine bottle and hanging him within the head, leaving him bleeding in his seat.

The incident occurred on Sept. 24 round 2:42 a.m. on a Purple Line prepare close to the ninety fifth Avenue station, leaving TeShaun Terry – who recorded the violent confrontation – shocked on her approach dwelling.
