Joliet police officer shoots armed man after traffic stop, police say

JOLIET, Unwell. (WLS) — A person was shot by a Joliet police officer Wednesday night time after authorities mentioned he fled a site visitors cease and refused to drop a gun.

The capturing came about at about 11:12 p.m. within the 100-block of Linden Avenue, police mentioned. A passenger armed with a handgun fled from a car after a site visitors cease, police mentioned.
