History-making female Chicago high school football coaches honored
CHICAGO (WLS) — Two history-making feminine highschool soccer coaches have been honored Monday.
Jouscelyn Mayfield, who coaches for Fenger Excessive College, and Konesha Rhea, who coaches at DuSable Excessive College, have been named coaches of the week.

“I’ve at all times cherished the sport. I’ve performed the sport,” Mayfield mentioned.
“I used to be visiting my aunt in Harvey in the future and the boys needed to go to nook of 157th and Lexington and play and I joined them and fell in love with the sport,” Rhea mentioned.
Their groups confronted off on Sept. 15, marking the primary time two feminine varsity coaches have ever confronted off.
Fenger received the match-up with DuSable however each coaches agreed there have been no losses for both of them that day.
