Hammond fire at senior apartment complex leaves 1 dead

HAMMOND, Ind. (WLS) — One individual was killed in a fireplace at a senior residence complicated in Hammond, Indiana Thursday morning.

The Hammond Hearth Division stated it responded to the Renaissance Residences on Michigan Avenue simply earlier than 3 a.m. and located flames pouring out of a ninth flooring window.
