Fentanyl bust California: 2 charged after enough fentanyl to kill 4.7M found, DA says

SANTA ANA, Calif. — Prosecutors have charged two males after authorities allegedly discovered greater than 20 kilos of fentanyl, almost 200 kilos of cocaine and greater than 800 kilos of methamphetamine in a minivan in southern California final month.

The Orange County District Legal professional’s Workplace stated in an announcement Wednesday that 36-year-old Edgar Alfonso Lamas and 53-year-old Carlos Raygozaparedes have pleaded not responsible to 6 drug-related counts with enhancements.

If convicted on all fees, each males face a most sentence of 37 years and 4 months in jail.

Prosecutors say authorities pulled over the minivan leaving a Buena Park, California house on March 17.
