Elk Grove Village mother killed in Florida parasailing accident; 2 children also injured
CHICAGO (WLS) — A mom from Elk Grove Village was killed and two youngsters have been injured in a parasailing accident within the Florida Keys on Memorial Day.
The incident occurred close to Pigeon Key. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Fee stated whereas the girl and two youngsters have been parasailing, winds picked up, inflicting the parasail to strike the Previous Seven Mile Bridge.
The lady, who has not but been recognized, was killed. Each youngsters have been injured. One was taken in important situation to Miami for hospital remedy. The opposite suffered minor accidents, officers stated.
One of many injured youngsters is the girl’s son, although authorities haven’t but recognized him or stated how badly he was damage.
An investigation by the FWC and the US Coast Guard is ongoing.
